A few things to know before you arrive.
Getting Here
Daufuskie Island is accessible only by boat — no bridges, no causeways. Ferry service runs through Setwake Savannah, to and from IGY Marina on Hutchinson Island. We recommend booking your ferry in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.
What to Wear
Dress for the outdoors. Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a hat go a long way. Lowcountry weather is warm most of the year — light layers work well in cooler months.
Tour Duration
Hop-on/Hop-off wagon tours provide 9-10 stops on 30 minute rotations. Experience the history, local restaurants and sights and sounds of Daufuskie Island at your own pace. Private charters can be customized to your preferred length. Ride share trips are on-demand and as short or long as you need.

All tours and rides are booked in advance through our online booking system. We recommend reserving your spot early — especially during peak season from March through October.
